* 알았다 : past tense of 알다 by '-았-'

* 좋다 : be good
* 좋았다 : past tense of 좋다 by '-았-'
* 좋았을 텐데 : 좋았(the stem of 좋았다) + -을 + -텐데
* -을/를/ㄹ 텐데 : a short form of -을/를/ㄹ 터인데
* -을/를/ㄹ 터인데 : -을/를/ㄹ(a suffix means future tense and attributive) + 터(one's conjecture) + -이(the stem of 이다) + -ㄴ데(a non-honourific descriptive verb ending suffix)

* 터 : 어미 '-을' 뒤에 쓰여 '예정'이나 '추측', '의지'의 뜻을 나타내는 의존 명사(an dependent noun means "conjecture", "will" when 터 is used after '-을')

* 이다 : be

* -ㄴ데 / -인데 : 자기 말에 남의 동의나 의견을 구하는 투로, 가벼운 느낌이나 아쉬움 등을 나타내는 종결형 서술격 조사(a non-honourific descriptive ending suffix that expresses a light feeling or regret, etc. in the manner of seeking consent or opinion from others)

* 아쉬운 : (1) [=서운한•유감인] regretful; sorry; sad : (2) [=필요한•부족한] want for; wanting
* 아쉽다 = 아쉬워하다 : [ㅂ 불규칙] (1) [=서운하다•유감이다] be sorry; be sad; be regretful (2) [=필요한 것이 없다•부족하다] be want for; be wanting
- 우리는 이별을 아쉬워했다 : We were sorry to have to say goodbye

* 아쉬워 : 아쉽(the stem of 아쉽다; ㅂ changed into 우) + -어(a non-honourific descriptive verb ending suffix)

* ㅂ 불규칙 : the second ㅂ of 아쉽다 is not 'B' sound but 'V' sound and V consists of ㅂ + 옛이응  ‘ㆁ’. these days  V sound changed into '우' for easy pronunciation
