Let’s learn about "땡기다“

Today I was craving for Jjajangmian, so I headed to Koreatown! 

오늘은 짜장면이 땡겨서 한인타운에 갔어요!

* -은 : a time suffix emphasizes "오늘"

* 짜장면 : Black-bean-sauce noodles in Korea
* -이 : a particle makes 짜장면 the topic of the sentenxe after a word ends in a consonant

* 땡기다 : (1) pull (2) would like to eat (suddenly)
* 땡긴다 : present tense of 땡기다 by '-ㄴ'

* 땡겨서 : 땡기(the stem of 땡기다) + -여서(because of)

* 한인 : Korean (people) who lives in foreign country
- 그 선수의 활약은 미국에 거주하는 한인들에게 희망을 주었다 : The player's outstanding performance gave hope to Koreans living in the States
* 타운 : town
* -에 : a place suffix

* 가다 : go
* 갔다 : past tense of 가다 by '-았-'
