2. Idiom of 바가지

1) 바가지(를) 긁다 : nag[snap / yap] ; speak crossly ; grumble

- 바가지 긁는 아내 : a nagging wife / a Xanthippe

- 심하게 바가지 긁는 여자  :a nag / a nagger

- 잠자리에서 바가지 긁기 : curtain lecture

- 밤늦게 온다고 바가지 긁다  :yap at for being late at night

2) 바가지(를) 쓰다 : be overcharged; be charged high; (be made to) pay through the nose; pay exorbitantly

4. 씌우다 has the two meanings

1) [=덮다] cover with; put on; [=도금하다] plate with

- 아이에게 모자를 씌우다 : put a cap on a child

- 냄비에 뚜껑을 씌우다 : put the lid on the pan

- 치아에 금을 씌우다 : cap[crown] a tooth with gold

- 나는 소파를 벨벳으로 갈아 씌웠다 : I had the sofa reupholstered in[with] velvet

- 나는 의자에 가죽을 씌우게 했다 : I have had the chairs upholstered[covered] with leather

2) [죄 등(sin etc)] charge[fix] ; fasten[pin] ; put ; impute ; lay ; [오명(disgrace)] fasten

- 남에게 죄를 덮어 씌우다 : charge a person with a crime / lay the blame for a crime on a person / fasten a crime on[upon] a person

- 그는 오명이 씌워졌다 : He had his reputation stained. / His name was blackened
