* 데 is used as a noun or a suffix as folows

1. 데 : [명사(noun)] [=곳] a place; a spot; [=점] a point; [특징] a feature; a distinction; [=대목] a passage; [=부분] a part; [=경우] a case; an occasion

- 둘 데 = 둘 곳 : a place for a thing

- 위험한 데 = 위험한 곳 : a dangerous spot

- …하는 데까지 : to the extent[length] of ‥

- 불을 붙이는 데에 성냥을 사용한다 : We use a match to start a fire
