엄두가 안 나다 = 엄두가 나지 않다 = 엄두를 못 내다 : cannot even conceive the idea of / be hardly thinkable

* 엄두 : the very thought ; daring

- 그와 이야기한다는 것은 아무도 엄두를 못 냈다 : No one dared to speak with him

- 저항 따위는 엄두도 못 낼 일이다 : Resistance is inconceivable[out of the question]

* -가 : a particle makes 엄두 the topic of the sentence after a word ends in a vowel

* 안 : this is equal to "not" in English

* 못 : this is equal to "can't" in English

* 해냈다 : past tense of 해내다 by '-었-'

* 자랑스럽다 : (I am) proud (of/that)

- 나는 네가 참 자랑스럽다 : I am so proud of you

* 자랑스러운 : an adjective form of 자랑스럽다

* 자랑스러워 : 자랑스럽(the stem of 자랑스럽다; ㅂ changed into 우) + -어(a non-honourific descriptive verb ending suffix)

* ㅂ 불규칙 : the ㅂ of 자랑스럽다 is not 'B' sound but 'V' sound and V consists of ㅂ + 옛이응  ‘ㆁ’. these days  V sound changed into '우' for easy pronunciation
