[Remarks about "ㅂ 불규칙]
In Korean language, All verbs ending in "-ㅂ다" follow the rules below as "ㅂ 불규칙 동사(ㅂ irregular verb)"(“-ㅂ다”로 끝나는 모든 동사는 “ㅂ 불규칙 동사”로서 아래의 규칙을 따른다)
ex)
- 아름답다 : be beautiful --> 아름다운(beautiful), 아름다워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
- 귀엽다 : be pretty --> 귀여운(pretty), 귀여워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
- 놀랍다 : be wonderful --> 놀라운(wonderful), 놀라워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
- 덥다 : be hot in weather --> 더운(hot in weather), 더워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
- 춥다 : be cold in weather --> 추운(hot in weather), 추워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
- 아깝다 : be precious --> 아까운(precious), 아까워(non-honourific descriptive verb)
[ㅂ 불규칙 (V irregular rule)]
* ㅂ is originally from ㅸ (ㆁ after ㅂ a sign that tells you to weakly pronounce 'ㅂ' and stop right away. (See: https://namu.wiki/w/%ED%9B%88%EB%AF%BC%EC%A0%95%EC%9D%8C%EC%9D%98%20%EC%88%9C%EA%B2%BD%EC%9D%8C)
(1) the ㅂ of 놀랍다 is not 'B' sound but 'V' sound and V consists of ㅂ + 옛이응 ‘ㆁ’. these days V sound changed into '우' for easy pronunciation

(2) 놀라운: an adjective form of 놀랍다; this is from 놀라 + ㅂ(V sound consists of ㅂ + 옛이응 ‘ㆁ’; this changed into '우') + ㄴ(a suffix makes a verb into an adjective)
(3) 놀라워 : 놀랍(the stem of 놀랍다; ㅂ(V sound) changed into 우) + -어(a non-honourific descriptive verb ending suffix)
* 놀랍다 has the following meanings
1) 놀랍다 : be wonderful; be marvelous; be surprising; startling; be astonishing; be astounding; be amazing; alarming
- 이 약은 효험이 놀랍다 : This drug works wonders. / This medicine works[does] miracles
- 그녀가 겨우 서른 살이라니 놀랍다 : It comes as a surprise to learn that she is only thirty years old
- (여기서 뵙게 되다니) 놀랍습니다. 어디로 가시는 길입니까 : Well, well, What a surprise ! Where are you off to ?
2) 놀라운 : wonderful; marvelous; surprising; startling; astonishing; astounding; amazing; alarming
- 놀라운 사건 : a remarkable incident / an eye-opener
- 놀라운 사람 : a wonderful man
- 놀라운 재간[솜씨] : amazing talent[skill]
- 놀라운 소식 surprising[astonishing] news
- 놀라운 무기 : a formidable weapon
- 놀라운 기억력을 갖다 : have a remarkable memory
- 그녀가 배우가 되겠다니 놀라운 일이다 : I wonder[marvel] that she should become an actress. / It's amazing that she's going to be an actress
3) 놀랍게도 : to one's surprise[astonishment / shock] / to one's dismay
- 놀랍게도 그 회사가 도산했다 : To my surprise, that company went bankrupt
- 놀랍게도 지갑이 없어졌다 To my dismay, my wallet was gone
- 놀랍게도 그는 그 일을 불과 사흘만에 해치웠다 : The marvel is that he accomplished the task in only three days
